We know that you cannot plan for dental emergencies, but you can plan on what action you take. A dental emergency should not be taken lightly especially if facial swelling or an abscess is involved! While the infection may be localized to the mouth or a tooth now, the infection has a possibility to spread throughout the body causing much larger issues. Therefore, if you are experiencing facial swelling, a “bad” taste in the mouth, or physically see a white fluid/pus draining we do want you to call our office immediately at (229)- 247- 3400 so that we can schedule you as soon as possible. We have multiple office hours during the week in the event an emergency does take place.
